how to make inline links update flower player?

First of all, Flower is a lovely player and a joy to use and style.

My question: I have an instance of the flower_player (div with class="flower_soundplayer" containing links) and elsewhere on the page (not in the div) individual anchor-links to mp3 files likewise with class="flower_soundplayer" which are appended with [play] / [pause] as in the demo. How might I make these 'stray' links also direct the main player in the same way as the links within the div do? In this particular case the mp3 files are the same as those in the player.

    Hi Jakob,

Sorry about the extreme delay. Crazy end of the year — I had to actually think about this one a bit and it got lost in the shuffle a bit.

This is tricky. It is possible but we didn't include it in the default set of functionality. We made 3 kinds of players:

    1. All links in a single div
    2. Individual players for links
    3. A play-this-page style player

The play-this page version might work? Basically it finds all files and includes them. So instead of creating one player from a bunch of links then adding to it from inline links you just create one div tagged with:

    flower_soundplayer_pageplayer

then it'll create a player from all the links it can find.

Otherwise you'd have to write a fully custom player loader — either list the links by hand or create a new scraper. Sorry if that's a hassle. What you're asking for might actually be worth looking into as a new feature in the next revision...
