Hi,

I've spent 3 hours trying to understand why when people try to purchase my digital album they are getting an error message, I am attaching the screen shot.

Is the site broken? Is there anyone home? This is my 3 rd message about the "error message bad request" single purchase element is not working. Help!

    Hiya,

I can't see your screenshot. Can you try attaching it again?

Can you also let me know a bit more info?

1 - What connection are you using to host the digital album? E.g. Google Drive, Amazon Web Services, or your own.
2 - Can you please link me to your CASH page?

    Very best,
    Tracy

Also my dash states I have 9 orders (probably me trying to see if it works) but when I click on it, it opens and is empty.

whats confusing is that the download codes I've created for Fantasy Park work fine and those are on google drive.

    Hey!

So it seems like that's an S3 thing, and we're looking into it.

In the meantime, here's something that should get your download working again:

    1. Log into your admin panel and navigate to Assets.
    2. Select the asset that corresponds to your digital album.
    3. Select your fulfillment files. If there are multiple, you'll need to repeat steps 4 & 5 for each one.
    4. Your storage connection should be set as your Amazon S3 identifier. Set it to none and then click Save changes.
    5. Go back and edit it again. This time, set the storage connection back to your Amazon S3 identifier and reupload your file. Important - make sure the file name contains ONLY alphanumeric characters and no spaces. When you're done, click Save changes.
    6. Once you're done, navigate back to your digital album asset overview page and click Save changes.

That should solve your problem, but please drop me a line if you still run into trouble!

    Very best,
    Tracy

    Hi again,

I'm sorry to hear it didn't work! Another option would be to create a whole new asset to link to your digital purchase element, again using alphanumerical file names only (with no spaces). But yes, it's also worth giving Google Drive a shot!

    Very best,
    Tracy

    Hi Tracy,

I've tried everything multiple times with all connections, it's just not
    working.
    I don't understand. I followed your instructions, sad monkey, I think I
will use topspin while this gets sorted out.
    Let me know.

    Hi Santina,

I'm so sorry to hear that! We're definitely looking into it.

When you used Google Drive, did you get the same error?

    Very best,
    Tracy

Yes, same error and the weird thing is that for my last release that has
been up for a longtime it's also having the same issue, but download codes
    are not....very strange.

    Tracy,

Do you think my browser can have something to do with it?
To recap when I click the buy link, it goes straight to paypal and i log in
and click to buy then while the loading icon in paypal is turning it
freezes and puts me back on the cash page with the error message.

    Hi Tracy,

It's been over a week since I tried the digital purchase option on one of my releases.
I just created a new campaign to check and see if it would work, alas it dd not.
I got the same error messages after the paypal page.
Have you figured out a solution for the single purchase element?

    kindly,
    santina

    Hi Santina,

there's no fix just yet, but we're still working on it. I'll do my best to
reach out personally once it's been resolved so you can jump back onto the
    CASH system!

    Very best,
