I tried a million times to attach art work to a download and it doesn't seem to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

    Hey Noah!

    When you're attaching the artwork, do you mean uploading the album cover to your release? Currently, that's for internal use only.

    If you want to make the artwork available for download, you'll actually have to upload the image file to the release just as you would a music file, e.g. via Attached fulfillment files > Attach a file. If that's what you're doing and that still isn't working, please let me know!

    Very best,
    Tracy

    Hey, Tracy. So there's no way to have the cover art as the page background of the campaign they way it's presented in the tutorial (link below)?

    Hi Andre,

    thanks for bringing that MailChimp video to my attention. It was made many versions ago and should definitely be replaced.

    Do you want a single image to fill the entire screen as the background? If yes, it's just a matter of throwing a bit of css into your campaign.

    First, you'll want to upload your image to Assets, either as the cover to a release or as a file on its own. Once you upload it, you'll see a link that says, Don't need security? Make this file public. Click it and the full uri will become visible under Location (uri). Copy that link.

    Next, head back to your Main page and click the pencil icon on your campaign, and then click Page theme. If it's your first time editing the page theme, you'll be asked to pick between a light and dark theme. But once you save your choice and click Page theme again, a box will open up and you'll see some code and these tags at the very top:

    <!DOCTYPE html>
    <head>
    <title>CASH Music</title>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
    <link rel="icon" type="image/x-icon" href="https://cashmusic.org/admin/ui/default/assets/images/favicon.png" />
    <link href='//fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Montserrat:400,700' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'>
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="https://cashmusic.org/admin/assets/css/embed-default.css" />
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="https://cashmusic.org/admin/assets/css/page-default.css" />
    </head>

    Those are all the stylesheets we use. Right before </head> you'll want to declare more style elements. Copy this code, edit the uri (by inserting the uri you copied earlier), drop it in before </head> and save your changes.

    <style>
    html {
      background: url(URI GOES HERE) no-repeat center center fixed;
      -webkit-background-size: cover;
      -moz-background-size: cover;
      -o-background-size: cover;
      background-size: cover;
    }
    </style>

    That'll do the trick. Let me know how it goes!

    Very best,
    Tracy

    Thanks Tracy! Also, I'm having problems setting up my username. When I try
    to change it via "Settings" I get a message "Error. There was a problem
    with your password." when I've entered it correctly. Any help there?

    Hi Andre,

    right now, the system spits out that message if you try to change your
    username that is already taken in our system. I've made a note that a more
    appropriate message should be displayed if a username is unavailable. Sorry
    about that!

    However, every single username I've entered has received this message. And
    I've gotten very creative and abstract. I just can't grasp how no username
    I enter checks out. Thanks for your constant assistance.

    Hey Andre,

    you're totally right—there is a bug and it will be addressed. Unfortunately
    you can't change your username right now, but I promise there'll be a fix
    for it soon. I'm going to leave this ticket open and I'll let you know once
    you can go ahead and change your username.

    Very best,
    Tracy

    Hey, Tracy! Just wondering if there was any closure to the "change
    username" issue? I'm ready to launch a campaign using CASH Music but this
    is the final thing holding me back. Looking forward to hearing from you
    soon!

    Thanks

    Hello, Tracy! Just, again, expressing my concern for the "change username
    issue" and wondering if there has been any solution. I am eager to launch
    my email-4-download campaign ASAP so I apologize for my over-persistence.
    Looking forward to hearing from you!

    Thanks!

    Hey, Tracy. This is Andre. I am just trying to touch basis with you
    regarding the username issue we identified at the beginning of the month. I
    am growing very concerned that I may have to seek out another
    platform/alternative to carry out the e-mail-4-download-campaign if the
    issue cannot be resolved, as much as I really like, and want to move
    forward with CASH Music. As I have stated in prior e-mails, I am scheduled
    to launch my campaign at the end of the month of August and this issue is
    the final thing holding me back from proceeding with the launch. Hoping to
    get some closure on the situation ASAP. Thanks for your time and efforts!

    Best,

    Andre

    Hi Andre,

    I thought I directly emailed you and another person affected by this bug last
    week; I apologise if in fact I missed you.

    A fix was pushed a little over a week ago. Would you please try changing
    your username again and letting me know how it goes.

    Very best,
    Tracy

    Hey Tracy. Yes the username issue was resolved thank you! However, I am
    having a hard time editing the "page theme." Primarily, placing an image of
    the cover art to my single on my campaign page (not making it the entire
    background though, more like having it centered, below the email collection
    for an email-4-download campaign. Thanks for your constant assistance!

    Hi again Andre,

    may I suggest you have a look at this thread? http://help.cashmusic.org/discussions/questions/5262-customizing-ar...

    This user reached out wanting to use an image in conjunction with an element, and I provide the steps and html necessary to display the image on their CASH page. (You can check out the attached screencaps in that thread.)

    Thanks for the suggestion and direction with that link Tracy! It was of
    some use. However, my issues were not ultimately resolved. Most notably;
    how to edit the appearance of the element itself (in my case the
    email-collection form) on my campaign page/ More precisely, how can I edit
    the the email-4-download form to be in proportion with my cover art which
    hovers above? I have attached two screenshots which compare and contrast
    what I am looking to execute. The first screenshot is how my campaign
    currently appears (the email-4-download form is stretched out across the
    entire page, too big/long). The second screenshot is one I took from the
    thread you sent me previously of another artist's campaign page whom was
    seeking help, this screenshot exemplifies what I am going for
    (email-4-download form in proportion with cover art, accompanied by what
    appears to be either a background or border encompassing the two).

       1. How can I edit the the email-4-download form to be in proportion with
       my cover art which hovers above?
       2. How can I add the background/border around the two to make them
       appear as if they are connected (as the other artist has executed)?

    Your constant support has been monumental, Tracy! Thank you so much for
    your assistance. This should be the last of my questions as the aesthetics
    of the campaign page along with all other technical issues should be
    resolved after this! Looking forward to wrapping this up!
