Collecting Email Address Confusion

Hi guys we had our album launch recently and did a free download coupon with every ticket. We were searching for somewhere at the last minute to set up that would help us collect email addresses when people collected their downloads. I embedded it fine and then checked it downloaded OK when I put my email in the box. It worked fine but now after the gig having looked back at the site I've realised I was supposed to have created a list or something which I didn't. This is partly cause I was in a rush and perhaps didn't have time to read through properly but it also isn't massively clear (I appreciate this is a work in development and not a finished product/company) I was just wondering if there's any chance I can still get the emails from the people who've signed up as it'd be a real shame if we missed out on them. Best wishes, Ben

    Hey Ben,

unfortunately, if you haven't created any lists, or did but didn't select
one as a target mailing list while setting up your element, those email
addresses were not recorded. I'm sorry!

We do want to improve the platform and ensure this doesn't happen again,
though. Could you let us know whether you set up the email-for-download in
    simple or advanced mode?

Thanks so much, and sorry again!

Hi again Ben. Just wanted to let you know that we've created a bug report
and marked this issue as critical, so it'll be addressed in the near-term:
    https://github.com/cashmusic/platform/issues/345

    Thank you again!
