Is there a way to change the 'Sign Me Up' text on the email collection? I'd like it to say 'Sign up for free download'

    Hi Eva,

This is *totally dumb* but there actually isn't a way to change it without adding javascript and wacky stuff. You can change literally everything else but there's no way to change the text. It's more an oversight than anything and we plan on fixing it, but I'm sorry it's affecting you.

PS: If you're expecting a big surge of signups it's worth moving to "advanced mode" and using a different file host than Google Drive. It's not designed to a lot of traffic, so you're better off looking in the help and setting up an Amazon account or hosting the file yourself.

    Thanks Jesse,
In that case I will change the 'We won't share your email address' text
instead. Is there a document you can point me to which explains the
different elements of editing the embed html? I can't find the right part
    to edit that text.

Thanks for the advice on the file, I spotted that in your set-up
instructions and the record label supplied a 'surge proof' download link to

We now have over 800 email addresses so I'm very happy!

    Oh that's awesome!

I don't have a doc but it's not hard. First switch to "advanced mode" (if you're not there already) and on the main page you'll see a list of elements, likely just the one you created on signup. Click on the element "details" link and you'll see something like this:

You can just change it and the message will switch out. Let me know if you have more complex changes and I'll send more about tweaking markup/CSS.

...really need to write more how-tos!
