Hello!

I would like to setup a simple email capture give away a track. Following the guide it mentions that I need an S3 account to host the files. Do I have to have an S3 account or can I have the files on a server I already use?

Cheers,
Stuart

    Hi Stuart,

You can easily use your own server, but you won't get secure links that
way...so the links will be publicly accessible if shared.

All you need to do is create a file asset and paste the URL into the
location field and you'll be ready to go.

    HI Jess!

Thanks for the speedy advice! I added a test example to a test site of mine and a couple of really weird things happens. Are you abel to give me any advice on these issues?

    1. The name field for my asset & the "Which storage connection" dropdown are in red after I have added my track. Id assume this normally mean a failed validation. But I dont know why.... I've attached a screenshot

    2. When you fill in your email address on the test page and press download on the image or mp3 it just loads in my browser... I've tested on Chrome, Firefox and Safari and same thing happens - http://test.northernbadger.co.uk/?page_id=9
