Just ran the new updater (for v3). It seems to have worked fine!

The only thing I'm seeing is that the "update.php" file did not delete itself, obviously not a big deal...

Cool. Not sure why it didn't delete — did most of our testing on a Dreamhost shared account and I think they allow unlink by default. I'll run a few more tests.

Just to be sure: you got the success message at the end, right? Some of the error states leave the file intact, but if you see the success it's tested as all set and should have deleted...

I got the "I'm deleting myself" message, if that's the one...

Strangely, I'm actually not seeing the update.php file on my server today. It could have been a glitch in what my FTP/editor app (Coda) was showing me, although I asked it to reload the view several times.

    So let's assume this is a non-issue...

Oh cool...yeah Panic and Coda both cache their results so without a refresh you'd still see the file. Thanks!
