I've uploaded the cashmusic_web_installer.php into a folder i made called "cash" in my ftp client (cyberduck).

When I go to there on the web ( i get:

"Forbidden. You don't have permission to access / on this server."

... so i'm stuck on step 1.

My webhost is Is it something wrong in the settings there? Any adjustments I could make? i tried the "cashmusic_web_installer.php" extension. What other info could i give to help you help me!?

I have minimal experience with all this web development/coding stuff so hopefully all if this isn't going to go over my head. This whole thing is a fantastic idea though. Aimed at people like me (a mere musician, not website builder). Hopefully the future versions will be easier to get going.

thanks for any help

It's a permissions/configuration issue. Other people have had problems
with the installer on and we're looking into it. Next release
(later in March) will definitely bring enhancements to the installer —
hopefully some fixes as well as a preflight test to make sure the
server will work with the platform.

We're committed to making things *easier* as well as better each

    Thanks Jesse,
Do you know if theres currently a way round it with the server at the moment? i might see if a web-tech minded friend could help out, if not.......i eagerly look forwards to the next release!

It's a bit of an annoying setup sans-installer — but I'm planning on
including an upload-everything-yourself installer soon too. Probably
won't be able to get it in place before SXSW, but soon after. And
it'll be ready before the official v2 release at the very end of March
    — check the CASH blog for more on that soon.
