Share Link not formating correctly.

Hi Guys,

Great tool and I'm really impressed. Though it did take me a little bit to get both working right on the same page, I think I'm almost there. I'm having this issue with having the "share" link for facebook. It doesn't seem to be pulling the info from the config file, and brings a blank pop-up with the typical facebook share box.

I've checked the code on the index.php and its identical to what the source is on the demo site here. Any thoughts?

Also, is it possible to tweak this (and maybe how?) to share this on facebook instead of just liking at first?

Yes, I'm leaving it up for the night.

    Hi Ryan,

Changing it from a like to a share is a whole different class of FB
app, so it's a little tricky. Hence the approach we took.

As for both on the same page, you'll need to change up the Javascript.
    Take a look at:

and you should be able to pretty much rip that script and swap it out.
It's not an officially supported thing, but not too hard to pull off

    Good luck!

I can't get the share to format correctly either. What could I possibly be doing wrong?

    Hi Jim,

Check to make sure that you're using the correct page and app IDs —
they're not the same. If it's not showing you the like button for the
correct page then you don't have the proper page ID. (Good way to

    Hey Jesse,
Everything's correct and working fine. It's just when I press the 'share' button, it doesn't pass the arguments correctly to the sharer. I don't see an image nor a description. I checked the facebook developer page and it said to include the meta tags, so I even tried manually inputting these values to no avail.
Seems to be a facebook thing to me, as it's really not officially supported anymore.

Ah. It's also cached for about 12 any changes you make take
    *forever* to show up...
